I’m Anne Hubben, a Creative Career Coach.

After recruiting in the design and advertising industry in New York City for over 11 years, I wanted to have more impact on my clients’ careers so I started to coach.  As a Creative Career Coach, I partner with creative professionals like you to make meaningful changes in their careers.

I focus on creative because I understand your experience as a creative person: how you think, the challenges you face, and how you can turn those challenges into opportunities. I’ve worked closely with many accomplished creative professionals and reviewed countless portfolios.  I know what works for developing your career and what doesn’t. I’ve also partnered with Creative Directors on their staffing and resource needs, so I know what helps a creative department thrive.

Through working with creative professionals, I have developed a tremendous respect and admiration for the creative process and the human need for self-expression. I understand this need personally, and express my own creativity through photography and writing. (I also earned my BA in Art History from Boston University).

After recruiting for the creative departments at Organic and Digitas, as well as creative staffing firms, I started recruiting on my own under the name Ruby Creatives (in case you’re wondering, Ruby is my dog). In 2008, I began to offer coaching to my clients. It was so successful that I now provide that service exclusively.

I’m based out of Cleveland, Ohio. Since most coaching is done over the phone, location is not an issue for my clients, who work with me from all over the US. I am a graduate of Coach U, and soon I’ll be certified by the International Coaching Federation.

I love what I do, and get a lot of satisfaction from giving my clients the support they need to make decisions and take action in their careers.
